A Boston-based fashion company named Printed Village hosts monthly competitions for artists for a chance to have their design created into a scarf and sold in stores and on their website. My print won for the “nautical” theme. It’s a scale pattern that mimics a mermaid’s tail which gives great texture and dimension when a person is wearing it.

Printed Village also uses the site “Print All Over Me” (www.paom.com) to create more objects with the prints they have. There are leggings, purses, coats and more.
